Casa DuPage formed the People’s Patrol in November on 2024 months before the inauguration of Trump. The People’s Patrol trained in community defense, outreach, identification of ice vehicles, community organizing and more to better be able to patrol each day the 5 zones of Chicago, communicate on signal and other platforms and importantly be able to arrive when ICE is present. In this capacity we have arrived at 10 ICE operations and through protest we have been able to frustrate ICE, film ICE and protest ICE. We also daily hand out know your rights cards, speak with residents and form relationships with people of our zones and march and rally in areas with high ICE activity. We also conduct know your rights trainings in affected areas like Elgin and west Chicago. We have over 180 men and women patrol in the 5 zones which are: zone 1, the Bensenville area; zone 2, the Glendale heights area; zone 3 the west Chicago area; zone 4 the Aurora area; and zone 5 the Elgin area. The Elgin zone 5 has been the most active patrol/ rapid response network in the state of Illinois. We invite men and women across the area to join us, there are trainings every other Friday at Casa DuPage.

Comrades! We are all part of the People's Patrol 🚨🚨🚨—Let us all be aware this morning of the continued presence of 🧊 in the area. Let us all be alert and ready to report here. Tell your children to also be alert and report. And if there is an ICE presence, let us know here. We are in full resistance and mutual support mode. Yesterday there was a fantastic protest in Chicago, and the fight continues in Los Angeles, and Casa Dupage is present! ❤️✊🏽
